Disney Annual Passholder Magnet 2026

Disney Annual Passholder Magnet 2026: Animal Kingdom Quick Trip, Secret Treats, and Safari Surprises

Adventure Awaits: A Monday “Rope Flop” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World

Hey, bestie! I’m Melissa, your Disney bestie, here to make your next Disney day a little lighter and a little brighter. Today is a bit of a whirlwind—a “rope flop” on a tight schedule. Between my Monday morning coaching calls and needing to pick up Mr. Bentley (my adorable doggy) from daycare, I’ve only got a few hours to soak up the magic.

But when Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World drops a new Annual Passholder (AP) magnet and an exclusive treat, you know I have to be there! We’re zooming around the park to check out new character meet-and-greets (perfect for memorable photos!), ride the safari, and see the latest construction updates. Let’s whistle while we work and make the most of our money with these limited-time perks!

Character Spotting: New Faces at the Front

Before even scanning into the park, the magic started! Right at the entrance, I spotted Chip and Dale. They aren’t in their classic DinoBash outfits anymore, but they are just as “chipper” as ever greeting guests.

Once inside, if you hang a right toward the front of the park, you’ll find Donald and Daisy. Since DinoLand USA has officially closed its doors, these two have relocated here in their adorable Safari outfits. It’s so great that even with the land changes, we can still catch our favorite feathered friends ready for an adventure—and snap some fun photos!

The Main Event: Zootopia Annual Passholder Magnet

The big mission for today was heading to the Discovery Trading Company. The new Zootopia-themed magnet featuring Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps is available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom from February 5, 2026, through March 15, 2026, while supplies last. This offer is valid only for eligible Passholders and only during these dates. Eligible Passholders can pick up the Zootopia magnet at Discovery Trading Company during regular park operating hours.

Pro-Tip:

Each Passholder must show their valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass, along with a government-issued photo ID to receive the magnet. Limit one magnet per Passholder is enforced during the distribution. To enter Disney’s Animal Kingdom, valid admission and a theme park reservation for that day are required (though Passholders can visit without a reservation after 2 PM on good-to-go days).

The Zootopia magnet is part of a limited-time promotion celebrating the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether! 4D attraction at the Tree of Life Theater in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and is also part of the celebration for the release of Zootopia 2. The final day to obtain the Zootopia magnet is March 15, 2026. Remember, damaged magnets can lose their collectible value, so handle yours with care!

Disney World will cut three Zootopia-themed perks for Annual Passholders on March 15, 2026, so don’t miss out on these exclusive offerings that really make your money go further.

Kilimanjaro Safaris: A Baby Giraffe Sightseeing

I saw a posted 20-minute wait for Kilimanjaro Safaris and couldn’t resist. The line moved steadily (about 18 minutes total), and the animals were out in full force!

We saw:

  • The Okapi: The closest relative to the giraffe and very shy.

  • Nile Hippos: Lounging in the water.

  • African Painted Dogs: Catching some shade by the water.

  • The “Icon”: A baby Masai giraffe! He was about 8 feet tall and totally doing his own thing away from the “tower” (a group of giraffes).

Every safari is a different experience, and today was definitely a “win” for animal sightings—and for capturing some great photos!

The Review: Annual Passholder Exclusive Carrot Cake Sundae

Time for the “treat” part of the trip! I headed over to Terra Treats to try the Carrot Cake Sundae ($8.99). This is an AP exclusive, so they will ask to see your pass.

What’s inside:

  • Vanilla ice cream & caramel sauce

  • Roasted pecans & carrot cake crumbs

  • A waffle bowl with a “birthday cake” flavored shell

  • A white chocolate carrot top

It looks like a little carrot growing in the dirt! The vanilla and caramel aren’t too sweet, and the crunch from the pecans and “dirt” crumbs is perfect. The birthday cake shell is a bit sweeter, but overall, it’s a refreshing, adorable snack for a sunny afternoon. These exclusive treats are a great value for your money as a Passholder!

Refreshment Break: The Starbucks “Pink Drink”

After the sundae, I needed something cold. I swung by Creature Comforts (the Animal Kingdom Starbucks) for a Pink Drink ($5.95). It’s a Strawberry Açaí Refresher made with coconut milk. If you haven’t tried it, it’s creamy, fruity, and the ultimate “walking around the park” beverage.

Goodbye, DinoLand USA: Construction Updates

I took a quick walk over to the former DinoLand USA, and bestie… it’s officially gone. The iconic bridge sign has been removed, and the area is a clear path of construction walls.

Disney is moving fast to transform this space into Tropical Americas, featuring Encanto and Indiana Jones. While it’s sad to see the dinosaurs go, the progress looks promising for a 2027 opening.

New Merchandise Alert: Sparkles and Tumblers

Before rushing to pick up Mr. Bentley, I ducked back into Discovery Trading Company for a merch check:

  1. Starbucks Tumbler & Mystery Pin Set ($54.99): A gorgeous green/clear tumbler that comes with two mystery pins.

  2. Sequin Character Hoodies ($79.99): A light pink Daisy Duck hoodie and a blue Donald Duck hoodie. The back features full-sequin portraits of the characters—super sparkly!

  3. Puffy “Ear Holder” Bags ($54.99): These small crossbody bags have a special strap on the outside specifically designed to hold your Minnie ears when you aren’t wearing them. Genius!

Wrapping Up the Day

From the Otter Grotto (did you know otters chirp?!) to a surprise run-in with Kevin from Up, this short trip was packed with magic. Being an Annual Passholder really does have its perks, especially on these beautiful Florida Mondays. The immersive experience of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme, with Zootopia now woven into the park’s narrative, makes every visit special.

Don’t forget: Annual Passholders can enjoy FREE Dining & Drinks when booking a Hotel & Ticket package by March 31, 2026, and can save up to 25% at selected Disney Resort hotels during the Easter season by booking by April 22, 2026.

Better Zoogether Initiative: Conservation and Community in Action

If you’re looking for a way to make your Disney’s Animal Kingdom visit even more meaningful, the Better Zoogether Initiative is where magic meets mission! This special program is all about bringing guests together to support wildlife conservation and celebrate the incredible biodiversity that makes our world so unique.

The Better Zoogether Initiative is a cornerstone of the Animal Kingdom theme park experience, reflecting Walt Disney World’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement. When you visit the park, you’re not just here for the rides and treats—you’re also helping to protect tropical ecosystems and the amazing animals that call them home.

Getting involved is super easy and totally worth it! Start your adventure at the Discovery Trading Company, where you can learn about Disney’s conservation efforts and pick up a limited-time passholder magnet featuring the dynamic duo, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Zootopia. To claim your magnet, make sure you have your valid annual pass card, a linked MagicBand, your Disney MagicMobile pass, and a government-issued photo ID—Disney magic with a dash of real-world responsibility!

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Head over to the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot, where you can meet Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in person and join in interactive activities that highlight the importance of conservation and community. It’s a fantastic way to connect with the Animal Kingdom theme and make memories that matter.

By participating in the Better Zoogether Initiative, you’re helping Disney make a real difference for wildlife and the environment. Whether you’re learning about animal habitats, snapping a photo with your favorite Zootopia pals, or just soaking up the positive vibes, you’re part of something bigger than yourself.

Keep in mind, the initiative—and those adorable magnets—are only available for a limited time and while supplies last. Access to certain experiences may be limited, so be sure to check the Disney Experience app or the park’s website for the latest updates and important information.

So next time you visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, don’t miss your chance to join the Better Zoogether movement. It’s a fun, interactive way to support conservation, connect with the community, and add a little extra magic to your day—one magnet at a time!
